This is how I spent my Saturday morning :)

I spent it getting ready for next week!!

Have to prepared to succeed.So i started with some breakfast..

While enjoying this delicious feast I had to my meal planning done.

So I got out my books and POOF!!Foundsome amazing new recipes to try.

That Tosca knows what shes talking about!!

I have been doingthis Eat Clean eating change for 2 weeks and I have had a 6 lb weight loss!!

Cant beat that! Beyond excited!!

So her it is.. FINISHED.... ready for my week!!

How many of you meal plan?? And how far in advance do plan for??

Waist-42.5 (down 1 inch)

Hips- 47 (down 1 inch)

Neck- 15(same)

Thigh- 25(down 1.25 inch)

Calf -18(down 1 inch)

Upper Arm-15.5

Its the most BIZARRE thing ....

ok so get this.....

when I was obese and unhealthy all I thought about doing was eating.

Now that I am trying to get straightened out all I think about is eating.

Now granted before it was a no brainer, I ate whatever, whenever!!
Which is how I got to be 280lbs.

But now...

I have to think about things. Plan.. Decide...Choose!!

Plan my meals in advance.

Decide to eat the right foods.

Choose a better lifestyle.

Its just the craziest thing to me that I have to think this much.

Its making more sense to me now, but who woulda thought that someone who just wanted to lose weight would have to get to know food alllllllllllllll over again.

I do have to say that it feels pretty good to know whats going into my body now
and what its going to do for me.

so enough of my blah blah blah.. just had an AHA moment. :)

ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh sweetie pie why why why...

Eat sooooooooooooooooo good all day long and then I wake up to popcicle wrappers and empty candy bar wrappers, popcorn bags and sunflower.

You cant even say your is a closet snacker cuz you leave all of your damn wrappers right out there for me to find!!

UGHHHHHHHHH... just do this with me man!!

Someday I am going to buy a bunch of lollipops and stick them to your body while you are sleeping.. see how much you want your sweets then.. (insert evil laugh here)

I certainly cant make decisions for you.....

but for god sakes hubby!! Be descrete would you.

Day 4-5-6 - -Clean Eating

Well, I have been challenged. Its a little harder than expected to stick ot this EAT CLEAN.

Not that the food isnt fantastic, because it is!!

But I am so weak, when it comes to wanting stuff I have had in the past.

I am trying with all my might though. So on that note.. here are days 4 and 5.


Breakfast- 2 eggs, 2 turkey bacon WATER

Lunch- 2 Homemade turkey tacos, black beans, light sour cream, jalepenos WATER

Snack- special k bar, apple WATER

Dinner- Pork Chop, Baked Sw. POtato, Brussell Sprouts, Skim Milk

Snack 100 cal popcorn Water

Day 5

Breakfast- Special k Cereal, Skim MIlk

Lunch- CHINESE :( ( i know right) WATER

Snack- apple, peanut/chocolate mix

Dinner- Steak, baked potato, salad WATER

Snack - banana

DaY 6

Breakfast- WW Apple Banana Pancakes, 2 slices turkey bacon, skim milk

SNack- special k bar

Lunch- Southwest Chicken Salad WATER

Snack- Nut- fruit- chocolate mixture WATER

DInner- Southwest Chicken salad WATER

Snack- smoothie, mango, unsalted peanuts

Day 4- Clean Eating

so Day 4 is here... So far soooooo pretty

Last night I kinda strayed and went out for some beers.

But I am not perfect, and I will have those days.

AND THATS OK!! :) Oatmeal, banana, honey, skim milk-WATER

Snack-NOTTA :(

Lunch- Asian Noodle Bowl, Yogurt. - WATER

Snack- Apple, 1/4 cup unsalted peanuts.

Dinner tonight- Curried Chicken Dish, Baby Reds, Skim Milk

Snack- honey and fruit bar-WATER


Day 3 - Clean Eating

Day 3 Eating Clean was Thursday. - 2 hard Boiled Eggs(no yolk), 2 strips Turkey Bacon, 1 Apple- WATER

Snack- Orange

Lunch- Asian Noodle Bowl, 1/2 cup diced pineapple, 1 Greek Yogurt w/ granola- WATER

Snack- NOTTA :(

Dinner- Southwest Chicken Salad - WATER

NIght Out- Coors Light Red Beer(alot)

It was St. PAttys Day.. Had to go have some fun with friends.

Day 2 - CLean Eating

well, day 2 is almost over and I ate good!! :)

Breakfast- 2 HB eggs minus yolks. 2 pieces WW toast and 2 tsp. peanut butter. WATER

Lunch- 2 Talipia Manicotti Bundles. WATER

Snack - Apple, hanful of unsalted peanuts. WATER

Dinner- Lamb Chops, Baby Red Potatos, 6 oz skim milk.

Snack- Greek Yogurt. WATER

so this is my new FAVE gadget!!
I got this a week ago and I totally love it.
Its the Polar F6 Womens Heart Rate Monitor.
Records your heart rate, calories burned, exercise time and probably so
much more I dont even know about yet.
I am telling you what though... this little pink beauty pushes me to a whole new level.
Its like I am in competition with this watch!!
Every workout I try to push myself just that much further and harder.
If you dont already have one.. .I highly recommend getting one.
Many many brands out there. New Balance, Nike etc..
I chose this one because my trainer has one and was able to help me set it up.
awesome.. awesome ....awesome!!

Breakfast- 2 hard boiled eggs and 1 apple. WATER

Lunch- whole wheat pita with lean ham, coleslaw mix and 1 greek yogurt.WATER

WORKED OUT FOR 2 HOURS(burned 1126 calories- had a protein shake)WATER

Dinner- 1 baked maniccoti bundle(delish)WATER

Snack- 1/2 grapefruit WATER

wooohooo! I think I made it thru day 1. Better go to bed, cuz I wanna eat

Ohhhh Its That Time Again..

Its Tuesday!!
That means Cycling tonight!!
It also means my ass is going to hurt so bad from sitting on that seat for 1 hour!! lol

I do really like this class though... it makes you wanna push yourself.

And though your legs are screaming at you "stop... for the love of God Stop".

but you wont ;)

(aside from lil breaks here and there to relieve my rumpus)

If you have a chance to join a cycling/spinning class I say go for it!

Hittin mine tonight and then Zumba!!

2 hours of workin out.. bring it on BABYYYYY!!

Cheesy Artichoke Tuna Melts

mmmmmm.... I made these on Monday for dinner. Hubby even loved them.
Serving for 6
3 Ciabatta Rolls
2- 5oz cans of Tuna in water(drained)
1-14 oz can of artichokes(drained)
2-tbls. fat free mayo
1/2 cup low fat shredded mozzarella cheese
Drain artichokes and chop in food processor.
In a bowl combine tuna, chopped artichokes and mayo
Turn oven to broil...
lay rolls in halves out on cookie sheet
(3 Ciabatto Rolls will make 6 melts)
Top with mixture and sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the top
place in oven for 7-9 minutes or until cheese is melted.
