1 Week down and I'm down

so excited!

So my last post I mentioned that I joined a Biggest Loser Contest.

This week I am happy to report to be almost 6lbs lighter.

I guess since I really only worked out 3 times it paid to really watch what I have been eating.

PLus its hot, so it always feels better to eat light.

This week I really challenged myself to do something at home as far as working out.. so I did some strength training and I also did 1 minute planks. Not all ended up being 1 minute, but I did try.

Thanks to everyone else who went for the challenge as well.

This weeks challenge is AB ROLL with BALL

Ab rolls are a challenging exercise that targets all the muscles of the core. This advanced move requires attention to detail to avoid straining the back. Make sure you only roll out as far as you comfortably can. If you feel any strain in the back, back off the exercise or avoid it completely.
1.Kneel in front of the ball and place the hands on the ball, parallel to one another and with the elbows bent.
2.Contract the abs and pull the belly towards the spine.
3.Slowly roll forward and out as far as you comfortably can, until the feel the abs engage. Don't go so far that you hurt your back or collapse.
4.This move does not involve bending the hips, so keep them straight throughout the exercise.
5.Keeping the body straight, slowly pull your body back using your arms and abdominals.
6.Continue for 1-3 sets of 8-12 reps, avoiding this move if you have any back problems.
7.You can change the difficult of the move by placing your hands closer in or further out.

Challenge yourself to do a set or 2 each day!!

I wanna be a big ass loser!

soooooooooooooooo... with that being said I joined


its a local thing. But I thought, with the way I am going it really cant hurt.. can it??

We weigh in every Monday morning by sending a pic of our feet on the scale with our weight ofcourse and the secret word of the week.

I'm out to win this people!!

We start this Monday and go til August 12th!
