Me + Bok Choy = LoVe

ok so I have to admit, up until yesterday I had no idea what this even was.

Passed this by soooooooooooooo many times at the supermarket, not even giving it a second glance.
Well, low and behold I had a recipe that called for it. I was like.. OMG what can I put in its place, I dont wanna eat that.. GROSS!!

With great hesitation and serious doubts I bought some....I mean GREAT hesitation!! lol

So the stare down began...

ok so I had to start cooking, the tummy was speaking to me.... :)

So I had to go on the internet to see how cut this green monster up....

Well, basically I chopped it like a head cabbage, taking off the bottom.

I dived into the recipe and got to cookin... ok so... everything is smellin mmm mmmm good!!

I added the red wine vinegar and the oyster sauce mixture and poof it was pretty much done.



ok people... let me just say...never judge a book by its cover, never judge a vege by its name etc etc etc blah blah blah... This was one of the most amazing meals I have had in a long time!!! So much flavor and a bit of spice from the red pepper flakes.. oh yeah baby!!

and guess what .. this is from the Eat Clean Recipes.. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Having leftovers for lunch tomorrow.

Stanky Bras

yes, lol you read that right!!

ok now i know we all sweat when we work out, but cmon!!

What is wrong with my bras?


Do you ever have that problem, where you wear your new bra or even a sports bra a few times when working out and then all of the sudden it reeks!

These stanky ass bras smell like they have drug across a mens locker room floor.


GAG!!


I wash it .... I wear it .... I gag!

soooo... I wash it... I bleach it... I wear it... I gag!!!

I seriously think the sweat is somehow embedded into the mere fibers of this

over the shoulder booby holder.

The minute I start to even faintly perspire.. BAM smells once again like I have

been laying in a pool of nasty sweat.

So then... dancing my ass off there in Zumba.. makes me wonder.. god if i can smell it, who else can..lol

Soooooooooooooo Miss Stanky Bra.. if you cant just hang out and smell decent... YOU MUST GO!

FORGET BRAS>> I AM USING DUCT TAPE FROM NOW ON!! HA!!

Who else has this problem... I know I am not alone..

you know who you are... lol

I have a DREAM...From Couch To 5k!!

ohhhh those fabulously wonderful words.

I actually have a gream though!! :)

I want to run a 5k!! Its been a DREAM/GOAL for some time now.

Who woulda thought.. ME RUNNING!!

Well, its time for me to stop doubting myself and GO FOR IT!!

I think its time to start getting ready. I would love to be able to run a 5k by end of summer.

I am beyond excited ...

even more excited that a friend/Rythmix Instructor, Julie has decided to do it with me.

She might be dragging me across the finish line, but Whatever it takes.. I will FINISH!!

Gonna buy me a cool outfit and some new tennies and get busy with this.

M y Workout Week

Monday:: Power - 30 minutes.....Kickboxing- 30 minutes....30 minutes Zumba Wii

Tuesday: Free Day

Wednesday: Zumba-1 hour....Quick Fit-3o minutes....Rythmix-1 hour

Thursday: Power-1 hour

Friday: Trainer- 1 hour....Hip Hop- 1 hour

7 hrs in a whole week does not seem near enough. Might have to step up my game next week.

Weight Lost was 2.2 lbs

Oy!!!!

Well, I must say I kicked butt today.... or did my workouts kick my butt!!??
Either way it was a fantastic day!!


Started with ZUMBA at 4.... 1 hour

then Quick Fit and 5.... 30 minutes

Followed by Rythmix at 6:30.... 1 hour

It was AMAZING!


I will say Mary still kicks my A** in Quick Fit.. Its a tough class,

but I am determined to keep up and finish hard!

I had a little breather from 5:30 to 6:30 so I ran to McDonalds.. ( i know, I know)

I was going to get a snack wrap.. just something to give me a lil energy for Rythmix class.


Well, I see they had oatmeal with fruit.

So I got it and a small oj!

Well, it gave me tons of energy, but my god!!

290 calories, 32 grams of sugar. YIKES!!

I have to say it was really super good, but dont know if I will have it again.

Needless to say I was high gear for my dance class. Nothing was going to slow me down, I only paused for water twice. I was on fiyah!! lol
Julie(Rythmix Instructor) had me wear her heart rate monitor.

It also measures the calories you burn. Get this people... I burned a wopping 665 calories during my 1 hour class. Thats not even including Zumba and Quick Fit.


I seriously need to get one of these !


They typically cost around 100.00 - Great investment if you ask me!! :)

Went to visit my lil sister today and she had lunch ready for us.. It was so good!
I ate things I thought I hated...lol

She had turkey paninis with garlic pesto and sun roasted red peppers and provolone cheese, along with some tomato soup.

OMG to die for!! I will be making these ALOT!

Game ON!

Its on!

I have had enough of this ho hum kinda attitude!

This girl needs to pick up the energy a few notches!!

Enough of the.. yeah I will exercise later BS!!!

Enough of the ... well, if I eat this today I will get serious tomorrow!!!!

NO NO NO NO NO MORE!

I am done. I am fed up with myself. Tired of my excuses.

I can certainly talk the talk... now lets see if this girl can move her fat butt and do what she needs to do and walk the walk.

I am going thru my house once again with a garbage bag and throwing out allllllllllllllllllll the bad!

Replacing it with only things I should be putting into this body.

I am dragging out all of my low fat -no fat- I dont wanna be fat cookbooks and I am going to PLAN!!

Thats right Rox, you heard me, PLAN PLAN PLAN.

Your so good at it, that I am going to follow your lead. :)

The whole food thing is holding me back. So I have got to get this under control.

I am sick of looking at back fat, leg fat, butt fat, arm fat, tummy fat.

Time to get rid of it all and what I put in my mouth is the sure fire way. (Along with my workouts ofcourse!!
